  • Visit the temple of Ixchel, the Mayan goddess of the moon, happiness, medicine and fertility. The temple is located on the southern tip of the island, and it offers a stunning view of the ocean and the sunrise. You can also see the sculptures of women that gave the island its name.
  • Swim with the whale sharks, the gentle giants of the sea.
